This is the new blog for Scunthorpe Concert Band. As it's the first blog post, I want to draw your attention to our website and facebook page on the sidebar.
We are a group of musicians playing a variety of music including musicals, film music, big band standards and classics such as (to name one that we started rehearsing last week) Fanfare for the Common Man.
We are a group of all ages, rehearsing on Thursday nights. Information about our rehearsals is at the top of the page.
We welcome any players who would like to join us, but I'd recommend that due to the difficulty of the pieces, Grade 4 and above is advisory. If you'd like to come, either turn up on the night, or send me an e-mail to grinnyguy@hotmail.com
